Current project by ELEKTROKAGURA
Elektro Kagura specializes in the reinterpretation of the great Japanese myths in the form of multidisciplinary performances that combine modern dance, electronic music and live animation. With this mix of styles, we want to create new forms of expression that are both familiar and surprising, didactic and entertaining at the same time, and appeal to both historical and popular culture lovers. For the past two years, we’ve been working on the Japanese collection of myths called “KOJIKI,” a kind of Japanese genesis. Far from sacrilege, this modern reinterpretation is a tribute to the universality of myth.
